ExperienceMy main profession is practicing law, but I have extensive experience with Spanish and enjoy teaching. I grew up and lived in Florida for many years speaking Spanish on a regular basis; I have traveled widely throughout Spain and Latin America; I scored a 5 on the AP exam in high school; I helped design the AP exam when I was in college; and I was inducted into the Spanish National Honor Society.
If you want to learn a second language, the best way to begin is working with someone who already has done so, who shares your native language, and who understands the challenges you will face. Whether you want to do better in school or simply learn Spanish for fun, I can help you achieve your goals.
HobbiesOne of my biggest hobbies is traveling, and I had the opportunity to visit Cuba as part of a delegation from the Montana Bar. I also lived in Venezuela for several months and have traveled to other Spanish-speaking countries such as Spain, Mexico, Colombia, and Bolivia, so I enjoy sharing those experiences as part of the learning process.

Wilton has been a wonderful tutor. He's friendly, accommodating, and clearly loves teaching Spanish. He gives encouraging feedback. He comes organized and prepared to teach and is very responsive to my individual needs for learning and speaking Spanish.
Wilton knows Spanish inside and out! Not only that, he is able to explain the nuances expertly. It is a pleasure to work with him because he is positive, has a sense of humor, and seems to analyze how each student learns best. Besides working at each individual student's pace, he is gifted in speaking and understanding both English and Spanish. This has helped me make in-roads, especially in understanding and using grammar correctly. Having studied with native speakers, I find it is often difficult for a native speaker to explain some Spanish concepts in English- when English is his/her second language. Wilton learned English first, but knows Spanish as well and can explain it easiy. I highly recommend Wilton. as a tutor. He is prepared, on time, and uses a variety of teaching skills when working with his students.
Will is very kind and knows his Spanish. He's great at explaining the various aspects of the language, and offers plenty of encouragement. He ensures that his student understands a concept fully before moving on. I'm very pleased with my progress so far, and look forward to learning more.
