Education
I'm one year away from getting my Bachelor's in Music Education at the University of Montana in Missoula. I have been on the Dean's list a total of 2 years and my GPA is a 3.54. I will graduate in the spring of 2010. I currently teach Irish Dance and I'm actively involved in music organizations. My main instrument is clarinet but I also sing and play the bass clarinet.
Experience
I have been tutoring since my sophomore year of high school (grand total of 6 years of tutoring) in study skills, music theory and performance, and biology. I love to tutor because I really like to see faces light up when the "I GET IT" comes around. I also like to teach and I love all ages of kids and young adults. I have been trained in all instruments and for conducting choirs. I am a very hard worker and dedicated to every person I give my time to. I was the main organizer for starting an Irish Dance program in Missoula when I started college. I also volunteer as a first responder on my home-town ambulance. My motto is "Do everything right the first time so you won't have to go back and fix it."

Hobbies
I love the outdoors and I love good hard manual labor. I grew up on a rance and working with my father doing excavation. I like to travel and I always ask questions. I'm very curious and I'm a social butterfly. I love fire and therefore, I firefight in the summers as my job. I'm very competitive in everything I do whether it be volleyball, basketball, rock climbing or grades. I'm a hard-headed person when it comes to determination. I also care a great deal for the people I surround myself with and am a very good listener.
